Day 199: Zit cream vs toothpaste
Last night, I somehow wandered over to the Yahoo Answers website. I always manage to somehow wander over there, and start answering questions! Sure I'm only on Level 2, [about 200 or so points] but that website is so addictive....! Just answering people's questions. There are some people who are blatently 13 years old, and they ask the world's most silliest questions like "Does he like me??" lol... but then again, I guess I was once like that, when I was 13...! lol But last night I found an absurd question [from another young girl no doubt]. Found in the "skin & beauty" section, someone asked if using toothpaste on zits equals clear? and if so, what flavour toothpaste! Oh my goodness, I nearly fell off my bed with shock! I thought everyone knew using toothpaste on zits was a big no no! All the previous girls before me explained it all, that using toothpaste made the spot clear within 2 days or so etc... There was only a girl who disagreed. Never explained why. So I took the initiative and warned her... NOOOO! DON'T TRY IT! basically, it causes you to be scarred later on, as toothpaste is meant for teeth! not spots! you're like dissolving away your flesh along side that spot, creating a crater [kinda like the ones on the moon] i.e. pits!!! you'll get pits! Don't know if the girl will listen to me and the other girl who disagreed. But dude, don't try it! invest in blemish-banishing creams and facewashes! i know about his because my sister tried it and told me. she has a deep hole slightly at the top of her nose. oh the benefits of having sisters to trade skin-and-beauty tips with! Zit cream was invented for zits. Toothpaste invented for teeth. Let's keep things the way it's meant to be. But at the end of the day, it's their skin, not mine. I've been getting a lot of spots lately. I blame the Indian food, which you guys would've know about if I had yesterday's shot up... but sadly no... :( so... lots of spots due to lots of recent spicy foods! double boo
